LX-15e: authentic sound
Roland's SuperNATURAL system ensures that timbre and volume change in a nuanced, stepless way while you are playing. The sound generator also takes pedal and hammer sounds, as well as string, damper, key-off and cabinet resonance into account. When you're playing fortissimo, the typical overtones and powerful sound are retained, thanks to the Dynamic Harmonic functionality. The Acoustic Projection system of the LX-15e reproduces the spacious, multi-dimensional sound field of an acoustic piano - the sound even becomes clearer when you open the top lid. Roland's 3D Ambience effect ensures that you can also enjoy a realistic stereo image when you are practising with headphones.
PHA-4 keyboard and additional features
The PHA-4 Concert keyboard of the piano features Escapement, an authentic grand piano 'click' and Ebony/Ivory Feel. Playing it feels great and your performance is accurately registered thanks to the latest touch-sensing technology. In combination with the SuperNATURAL sound system, it provides a unique and life-like playing experience. The Roland LX-15e-PE enables you to record your playing, and allows for connection to an Apple iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch, provided you have an optional Roland WNA1100-RL Wireless USB Adapter at your disposal. The free Piano Partner app for iPad enables you to select the sound and songs of the Roland LX-15e-PE and to display the sheet music on your iPad. The free Air Performer app allows you to play along with the songs on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.
