General
The Casio Privia PX-560 is quite similar to the PX-360, but offers a few more (elaborate) features for connoisseurs. Both digital pianos' housings are alike, although the PX-560 has a dark blue finish and features three encoders next to the display. In essence, this Privia digital piano is a stage piano/keyboard hybrid. It does not come with a fitted piano-style stand, so it's exceptionally easy to transport, making it ideal for live gigs. If you'd like to use the digital piano at home, however, an attractive, separately available stand makes it seem like part of the furniture.
Characteristics of the Casio Privia PX-560
With an impressive 256 voices, the PX-560 boasts a slightly more elaborate polyphony than its PX-360 counterpart. It also has more tones to choose from - 650, to be precise - and allows you to store 400 of your own user tones. Additionally, 200 factory rhythms and 30 user rhythms are at your disposal. Whether you like to play popular songs, or prefer making your own compositions, this Casio provides you with a wide, colourful sound palette to do so. Don't you feel like creating a complete sound configuration yourself? Have the PX-560's One Touch Settings function do it for you!
Other Features
Casio's PX-560 offers plenty of additional great features, including a 16-track MIDI recorder, an audio recorder and even a rhythm editor. You won't find any of these on many other digital pianos! What instantly catches your eye, though, is this Privia's 5.3-inch colour touch display. Not only does it look great, it makes controlling the digital piano a piece of cake. The Casio PX-560 is easily connected to your computer, which means you can use it alongside your sequencer software. We have a feeling you won't tire of this model any time soon.
