Digital mixers like the Midas M32 have brought about a revolution in the live showbiz and entertainment worlds. This product, the Midas DL32, was designed to expand on the M32's capabilities. It's a digital snake and breakout box with 32 inputs using the legendary Midas preamps and 16 balanced outputs, so there's plenty of room for everything and everyone on stage. All this is transferred trough a single CAT5 cable, that allows you to position the DL32 up to 100 metres away from the mixer.

Midas DL32: all about connectivity

When the DL32 is used as part of a complete M32 system, you can even cascade two DL32s to have 64 inputs and 32 outputs at your disposal thanks to the built-in AES50 ports. Furthermore, the Ultranet connection ensures that the DL32 can connect directly to the Turbosound iQ series and the Behringer Powerplay P-16 system, allowing you to send out 48 individual monitor mixes! Besides that, there are two ADAT connectors, MIDI I/O and a USB port so you can easily update your system!

Standalone

The Midas DL32 was mainly designed for use with the M32 series, but every digital mixer with AES50 networking capabilities can benefit from the wealth of possibilities that the DL32 has to offer. Even if you're working with an analogue mixer, you can use multiple DL32s to quickly and easily create a lightweight high-quality digital snake.
