The Reloop RP-2000M is a direct-drive turntable, which means the platter is directly connected to the motor, without the intervention of a belt. Consequently, is has a shorter starting time and it runs more precisely than a belt-driven model. This is partly due to the use of quartz in the drive. A large start button only adds to the neat and precise starting time of the RP-2000M.

An entry-level turntable

The RP-2000M turntable is ideal for starting DJs and mobile entertainers, both in functionality and in price range. For an affordable price, you get a direct-drive turntable that gives you a real head start when you're learning how to handle vinyl. If you want to fully focus on scratching, another type of turntable might be more suitable. The RP-2000M's motor is powerful enough for occasional scratching, but will need a little time to get going again during more extreme action. If you just want to play your records without hefty scratching, however, the Reloop RP-2000M is a great turntable with a decent price/quality ratio.
