General
Since every party needs one, Ayra offers up the DanceFX MB50-5x5 mirror ball plus motor. Point the included spotlight at this medium-sized, 50cm-diameter model and create a dynamic, atmosphere-enhancing visual spectacle. Once installed, the Ayra DanceFX MBM-2 motor automatically rotates the ball at 1 RPM, while a spotlight can be set up nearby and directed at the ball so that slow-moving points of light are scattered around the space, conjuring some classic disco-style magic. This Ayra-designed mirror ball also features an extra eyelet that supports a safety chain.

Très légère, sans doute en polystyrene, se balance au vent... Assez déçu par l'effet, j'espérais beaucoup mieux que ma vieille boule 50cm 1cmx 1cm, en fait je trouve moins bien. Les miroirs 1cmx1cm donnent, à mon avis, un meilleur effet, plus percutant, plus marquant. L'emballage est une honte, carton mou et mince, juste bon pour la poubelle, alors que je me sers toujours de l'emballage de ma vieille boule showtec. Ma vieille boule showtec,10ans, perd ses miroirs 1cmx1cm, verre épais, assemblés collés par scotch double face, la colle a séché et ne colle plus. Et ma très vieile boule 30cm miroirs 1cmx1cm, 30ans, à toujours tous ces miroirs, sans doute collé un par un...Ayra a des miroirs en verre très mince, aussi collé par scotch double face : nous verrons pour la durée...

Achetée en remplacement d'une 50cm mais à facettes de 10x10...autre ambiance, moins clinquante et plus soft...convient parfaitement à mon usage privé sur des volumes quand même limités. Recommandée aux amateurs de facettes!

Ik wilde eigenlijk een discobal van 1 meter bestellen, omdat het plafond op 5 meter hoogte zit. Maar de twee ballen van 50 cm doorsnee geven ook een mooi lichtffect. Precies wat ik ervan verwachtte toen ik ze bestelde.

Na talloze goede ervaringen met Bax is deze ietsje minder. Ietsje.
Er staat in de beschrijving dat de spiegeltjes 1 x 1 cm zijn. Maar ze zijn 0,5 x 0,5 cm. Dat zijn dus 4x zoveel kleinere spiegeltjes. Dat heeft invloed op de reflectering. Vind ik een beetje jammer.

Na talloze andere succesvolle aankopen in de afgelopen jaren, viel dit toch wat tegen.
Er zitten geen kettinkjes om de spiegelbol mee vast te maken bij het motortje. En ook niet bij de bol zelf.
Ik heb geen antwoord op mijn vraag daarover via de mail gekregen. Jammer.

Ik had de spiegelbolmotor onverwacht nodig bij een klein event . Op vrijdag avond besteld en zaterdag
ochtend om 10 uur al in huis . De motor doet zijn werk prima. Dus geen klachten .
Waarom duurkoop als het ook goedkoop kan .
