Danelectro's Cool Cat Transparent Overdrive CTO-2 V2 doesn't take away any low frequencies, which is ideal for guitarist who are happy with their own drive sound but would like a little extra gain. Most overdrives decrease the bass frequencies and focus on the midrange, but if you want to keep your low tones intact and just add a little extra gain, then this is the device for you. It has three controls for volume, gain and treble/bass for a 6dB clean boost all the way up to a transparent crunch.
