The Tone City Durple is a versatile mini-overdrive pedal designed in collaboration with session guitarist Peter "Danish Pete" Honoré. Although not an official signature model, the Durple is based on the popular Mandragora overdrive, but with a few clever tweaks. The pedal delivers rich, dynamic overdrive tones in the low- to medium-gain range and responds superbly to your playing style, making it ideal for both subtle crunch and piercing blues or rock sounds.

Durple with practical Mid control

An important change from the Mandragora is the replacement of the 'Pre' knob with a 'Mid' control, which allows you to boost or flatten the midrange. This allows you to switch effortlessly between a warm, scooped sound and a fierce, assertive crunch. The 'Tone' knob has also been recalibrated for a more natural high - where the Mandragora could sometimes be too bright, the Durple always remains musical, even when you turn up the tone control fully. A reliable all-rounder for guitarists looking for character and control in one compact pedal.
