Not every musician needs a large pedalboard, which is why Palmer offer the compact, lightweight Pedalbay 50. It's 500 mm wide and can hold 4-5 effects pedals. There is hook-and-loop fasteners on the cross bars and the pedalboard comes with a 1.5m roll of extra hook-and-loop for your effects pedals. It even includes a practical soft case for safe transport and storage!

This is a great pedalboard for someone who needs something sturdy and portable without being too big. I already have a larger pedalboard in a flightcase for main gigs but I use this for acoustic guitar effects or open mic nights.
The bag is as tough as the board and the separate pocket is useful for power-blocks, cables, etc.
I've only had it a short time but I'd buy it again if it was stolen.

Klein bord waar 5 pedalen op passen; in mijn geval 4 plus een voedingsunit omdat de ruimte onder het bord te laag was voor mijn huidige voeding. Ik gebruik het bord voor effecten die voor de preamp passen want het bord is te klein om ook nog effecten aan toe te voegen voor een effectsloop (al zou het wel mogelijk zijn als je bv een enkel effect voor de loop hebt). Het fijne van een klein bord vind ik dat je het kaf van het koren moet scheiden en alleen de broodnodige effecten op de plank kan zetten; eenvoudig en effectief. Keuzestress voorafgaand van het spelen maar juist geen stress tijdens het spelen. Goede oplossing voor een paar pedalen.
Tas is ook goed met een extra vak voor snoertjes en aanverwante prularia zoals de bijgeleverde rol klittenband.
Nadelen: weinig ruimte onder het bord voor voeding; je zult dus echt een dun voedingsblok moeten hebben/ aanschaffen of de voeding los van het bord houden (nu net niet de bedoeling van een bord); mijn oplossing is 1 stompbox minder en de voeding boven op de plank. Voor mij passend. Gebruik je kleinere effecten/ stompboxen dan passen er vast 6 op de plank. Niet gek!

Mooi compact, maar wel breed genoeg voor een leuk rijtje pedalen. Tas is lekker ruim zodat er nog wat extra's in past. Voorvak is ook handig voor extra's. Tas is van goede kwaliteit met stevige draagband. Ik gebruik het voor werk om mee te nemen naar verschillende locaties. Fijn dat er genoeg klittenband bij zit en extra elastieken om pedalen te zekeren. inbussleutel zit er ook bij om de pootjes te verwijderen, zodat je het eventueel ook lager kan neerzetten of in een koffer kan monteren.

Zeer tevreden over deze aankoop. Ik heb meerdere pedalboards in diverse groottes en van goede kwaliteit maar de Palmerbay's (ik kocht er meteen twee) voor max 4 à 5 pedalen zijn zeer handig voor snel even wat effecten (naar een bepaalde keuze) aan te sluiten, Ze zijn licht en handig en daarbovenop ook nog een draagtasje erbij, wat kan een mens zich nog meer wensen en al zeker voor de prijs!

Prima pedalboard voor de starter zoals ik. Ik heb er 4 pedalen op de gekoppeld zijn aan m'n Fender Rhodes. Het meegeleverde klittenband is makkelijk op maat te knippen voor onder je pedalen en het geheel blijft zeer goed zitten. Blij mee!

Les Pedalbay ont un rapport qualité prix assez impressionnant.
Ils sont bien finis, résistants.
Celui-ci est la version Mini mais avec possibilité de mettre une alimentation en dessous (Strymon Ojai par exemple) et la sac de transport est très pratique.
