Danelectro Roebuck is a distortion pedal based on a much-renowned Japanese mosfet stompbox from the 1990s. The original effect pedals, by the way, can be found on the pedalboards of many session guitarists, who perform their guitar work mainly in professional studios in Nashville. For a light layer of crunch to even a solid overdrive, you can definitely rely on this stylishly gerelicte guitar pedal from Danelectro. With this distortion effect you not only approach those modern country and rock sounds, but thanks to the 3-band equalisation you can shape the sound of your guitar far to your own taste. In addition, the 3-way switch lets you scaffold the diode in exactly the right way for your sound.

Eindelijk een overdrive (ik zou het zelf geen distortion noemen) waarmee je niet louter een dominant, monotoon zaaggeluid over je gitaargeluid legt! Dit apparaat is heel geschikt om de gitaar te laten spinnen of grommen, zonder dat het knetteren of zagen wordt. Ideaal voor een lichte of matige oversturing zoals je die hoort bij o.a. de Black Crowes en veel andere bluesrock bands. Ik plug het samen met een TwoNotes Torpedo CAB M in op een stereo-installatie en heb nog nooit zo’n mooie sound gehad. Het voelt en klinkt alsof het pedaal met je vingers meedenkt.
