Al een tijdje naar deze pedaal zitten kijken :-). Maar vond hem erg duur voor een overdrive, en ik ddacht alweer een overdrive erbij?
Maar geen spijt met deze geweldige pedaal, er zit ook een "noise gate" op, en die werkt echt fantastisch. Ik heb verschillende pedalen met noise gate gehad, maar altijd uitgeschakeld aangezien ze mijn geluid zo abrupt afkapten. Maar deze Noise gate werkt erg goed. Ben er blij mee.

Een goede distortion pedaal die ik toch terug heb gestuurd.
Gebruikte gitaar: superstrat met high output passieve pickup.
In de oefenruimtes waar we spelen staat een peavey 5150 100w + 4x10" cab. Echt een te gekke sound.
Daarom bestelde ik deze pedaal (gezien de positieve reviews etc).
Op mijn 100w H&K hybride amp thuis klinkt dit pedaal op de clean channel inderdaad richting een 5150.
De 3 bands EQ op het pedaal vind ik goed en de noise gate is leuk meegenomen.
Definitie en bouwkwaliteit is prima. Allemaal eigenschappen die je ook verwacht voor dit bedrag.
Op mijn Orange AD30 viel het echter tegen.
Channel 1 op die amp is de "clean / crunch" channel. Clean is de orange nooit. De amp klinkt nl. pas goed met de gain op 11 uur.
Op die stand heb ik getest. Het pedaal ruist dan binnen mijn "norm". Als de gain op de crunch channel op max gaat is de ruis echter gigantisch (met noise gate uit). Ook als de gain op het pedaal op 0 staat.
Dit probleem heb ik met mijn Angry Trool boost pedaal niet.
Het pedaal klinkt goed, maar ik mis de openheid van de overdrive die de orange heeft. Dus blijf ik vooralsnog mijn Angry Troll booster erbij gebruiken. Het voegt voor mij niets toe.

Mss wel het beste distortion pedaal dat ik heb . Het heeft een dynamische tube amp sound en lijkt behoorlijk sterk .
Laat je niet misleiden door de "overdrive" benaming want dit is wel degelijk een high gain distortion .
De boost switch en de noise gate zijn mooi meegenomen .
Ben altijd een beetje sceptisch bij pedalen met een hoge prijs als deze maar heb er nog geen seconde spijt van.
Speel het pedaal door een Fender Blues Junior III en een Blackstar HT 5R .
Niet op mijn Marshall DSL 5 , doet het niet zo goed met high gain pedalen .
Laat je niet misleiden door de "overdrive" benaming want dit is wel degelijk een high gain distortion .

Zeer goeie poging naar het 5150 geluid "in a box" !
Klinkt zeer goed en totaal niet harsch.
Getest op mesa en fenrder amps en klinkt op beiden zeer goed.
De gate is ook zeer bruikbaar !

Wat een sound krijg je uit dit pedaal. Ik heb hem aangeschaft bij mn bugera v55hd infinium. En het levert distortion als de 5150amp waar je classick van halen modern van halen maar ook je eigen sound voor metal en rock. Ik speel zelf eigen metal en het pedaal levert zelfs zlnder de boost knop meer dan voldoende gain. Het eq is erg handig om je sound mee te maken en het pedaal voelt erg degelijk aan. Verder is de noise gate echt een heerlijke bijkomstigheid, hierdoor heb je geen vervelende bijgeluiden wanneer je niet speelt. Kortom zeker een ander voor de mensen die opzoek zijn naar een high gain amp met weinig bijgeluiden in een doosje.

Prima sound. En toen hij aanwezig was snel geleverd (binnen een dag). Hij klinkt net zo goed als mijn Zagg Wild Marshall 15 watt (oefenversterker) thuis en beter dan de vervorming van mijn Marshall Mode 4. Er zit meer hoog in de MXR. Nu gebruik ik hem samen met mijn 100 watt Plexi uit 1966 (die heeft geen Gain mogelijkheden).
