The MXR EVH Modern High Gain Pedal brings the brutal, uncompromising high-gain power of Eddie Van Halen's signature sound directly to your pedalboard. Developed in close collaboration with EVH, this analogue distortion pedal delivers the distinctive, aggressive character of the 5150III tube amp with every attack. With dedicated controls for Output, Gain and an active 3-band EQ, you can fine-tune your tone from fat, palm-muted riffs to cutting solos. The Boost function provides extra gain and sustain for leads, while the 55Hz/80Hz switch allows you to easily switch between a full or tight low frequency. A built-in noise gate always keeps your signal tight, even at maximum distortion - for ultimate control on any stage or in the studio.
