The Talk Box isn't an effect, really, it's a device that allows you to use your mouth as an acoustic soundbox for your guitar, so you can create the most amazing vocal effects - from wah wah to ya ya and everything in between. This M222 by MXR is modelled after the original Talkbox from the sixties.

M222 Talk Box: The Practical Choice

The MXR team has modernised the Talk Box to make it easier to use, without taking away any of its unmistakable character. Tucked inside the rugged metal housing, the MXR M222 is equipped with its own amplifier and speaker driver making it easy to integrate into your pedalboard with no need for a separate rig to hook up the speaker output to your amplifier. Once installed on your board and jacked in, simply adjust the sound to suite your personal preferences via the volume, tone and gain controls. 

Please note

• the Talk Box isn't suited for use with amps that have a power of over 100 watts!
• you need a microphone with PA system for this effect!
• both your instrument amp and microphone need to be properly grounded!
• a microphone stand is recommended. The included clip attaches the voice tube to the stand.
