Following the success of the '77 Modified O.D. and the '78 Distortion, MXR expands its Custom Badass series with the M75 Super Badass Distortion. This stomp box is unique because of its extreme versatility. It has a gain range of up to 60 dB. In addition, this effects pedal has a specially tuned 3-band EQ that allows you to accurately set the desired tone depending on the amount of gain. The MXR M75 Super Badass Distortion can produce everything from a simple clean boost to '70s rock overdrive to modern scooped metal distortion.

While it sounds great as a clean boost on a distorted channel, the analogue circuit of the MXR M75 Super Badass Distortion really comes into its own on your amp's clean channel. This gives you the most control over the distortion and lets you tweak the sound to your heart's content.

Robust true bypass distortion pedal

The MXR M75 is a true hardwire bypass pedal. This means that there is a hardware-based switch that ensures that there is no loss of signal when the pedal is turned off so that your original guitar signal comes through intact. Just like other stomp boxes from MXR, the M75 Super Badass Distortion has an aluminium housing that is robust enough to withstand the heaviest abuse on stage and guarantees years of reliable use.
