Wrote the following about Boss DS-1X Distortion effect pedal

Ik heb dit pedaal al een langer dan de 5 jaar garantie die erop zit en hij doet het nog steeds prima (zoals we gewend zijn van Boss). Daarnaast is het mijn favoriete distortion pedaal. Vergeleken met de DS-1 vind ik deze een stuk beter vanwege de aparte tone knoppen. Deze is echter wel duurder maar ik vind het de prijs waard.

Mooi geluid! Ben niet heel bekend met andere pedalen maar deze werkt prima met mijn buizen versterken. Nadeel wanneer je de kabel er in laat zitten en het pedaal uitgeschakeld staat vreet hij nog de batterij leeg. Toch maar een adapter erbij kopen.

Persoonlijk mijn favoriete pedaal voor distortion, overdrive kan ie ook, maar toch liever wat anders in combinatie met een buizenversterker.
Werkt prima in combinatie met andere pedalen, dus geen vervelende bij geluiden wat wel eens kan gebeuren met distortion.
En erg fijn dat je niet meer afhankelijk bent van maar 1 toon knop. Deze instellingen zaten ook al op de ML2 en MT2 waar ik ook wel fan van was, maar de klank hiervan heeft mijn voorkeur, een stuk ''natuurlijker'' namelijk.
