For forty years Electro Harmonix have been manufacturing these Muff distortion pedals and their quality is yet unmatched. This re-issue makes their distinctive sound, made famous by Jimi Hendrix, available to anyone.
Technology
The Volume knob sets the output level, while the Sustain knob controls the distortion level. With the Tone knob you can add some colour to the distortion of the high or low frequencies. Guitar solos sound better with some more high, while your heavy riffs can do with some more low. This pedal is easy to use, so you will quickly find the settings that suit your preferences.History

First of all, what an iconic pedal, and what a diverse distortion/fuzz pedal. I have used this both in a bedroom seeing and live setting and I can truly say it is worth the money. In the bedroom its awesome to experiment and play with and live it gets the job done in true blistering fashion, for solos, boosts, dynamics anything you want, and the wide seats of tones are great. Anything from paper thing, ear splitting fuzz all the way to round creamy distorted fuzz tones, and everything in between. Not to mention its sturdy yet classic design and Ability to run off of mains and battery.
Overall, if you havent got one of these and need a fuzz/distortion pedal, I highly recommend checking this out, you can get great tones and accelerate your playing.

De Electro-Harmonix Big Muff is qua naam een klassieker, maar ook qua geluid! Het is even spelen met de knoppen, maar staat ie naar je zin komt het klassieke geluid van o.a. Hendrix uit je versterker. Mag niet ontbreken in je pedalenbak.
