The ENO TC-15 Classic Distortion

Using the Gain pot, the Classic Distortion can be dialled up from a warm and delicious crunch, to a solid and satisfying hi-gain distortion shaped by sweet, harmonic overtones. Tweak the tone pot to pull the frequencies from deep and dark to bright and shimmering, and use the volume pot to find the perfect output level.

Pedaal ziet er niet uit als op de foto's. Hij werkt ook niet (alles zit goed aangesloten en hij staat aan). Het lampje werkt niet. Het zet wel het geluid over naar mijn versterker, maar niet met distortion, de knoppen doen niks.

Dat een goedkoop pedaal ook nog eens goed kan klinken was zeker een aangename verrassing. De gain knop gaat van een lichte overdrive tot aan een over de top distortion, wat het geschikt maakt voor alle soorten muziek. Het pedaal klinkt warm en duidelijk. De toonknop lijkt op een hoog af filter want bij humbuckers moet hij flink open, van lage tonen verlies is absoluut geen sprake. Met single coils klinkt hij ook lekker vol. Kortom: een zeer leuk pedaal voor de smalle beurs.
