The Flex Drive by J. Rockett Audio Design is a versatile stomp box that gives you a broad palette of guitar overdrive effects. It's perfect for styles like classic rock, modern country and indie, among others. This flexible pedal is ideal for experimenting and has comprehensive controls that let you customise your sound.

Flex Drive: potentiometers and switches

No matter how you want your overdrive to sound, chances are you'll be able to find what you're looking for with this pedal. That's because the Flex Drive has a number of controls consisting of potentiometers and switches that allow you to customise your sound. The amount of distortion is controlled by the Gain knob and there are additional knobs to control the volume and the tone. There's a Clip switch that gives you the choice between two different types of clipping or lets you turn it off altogether. There are two other switches on board consisting of one for trebles and one that lets you fatten up the sound.

J. RAD was established in 2006 by Jay Rockett and Chris van Tassel. These experienced session musicians weren't satisfied with the effects pedals available at the time so they decided to make their own. They listened to feedback from other musicians during each step of the development process.
