The KHDK Dark Blood is one of the darkest distortion pedals to date. It produces a vicious, merciless tube amp-like distortion with lots of emphasis on the mid-range. It offers two gain modes, lo and hi, which means you can tweak the amount of gain you want to perfection.

Dark Blood: Noise Gate

In order to wield the tsunami of power this pedal creates, it features a built-in noise gate function that's adjustable by means of a control knob. With this gate, your playing remains tight. You don't need to be a Kirk Hammett fan to appreciate the Dark Blood pedal's ability to deliver mind-bending, face-melting effects!

KHDK Dark Blood distortion pedal

After much deliberation on which High Gain pedal to go for, I ended up choosing the KHDK Dark Blood when most other reviews suggested going for a EVH5150 instead.



This pedal is excellent. It absolutely nails the Metallica tone (despite professional reviews saying that it ISNT Metallica in a box). Sounds incredible, wonderful saturation.



Its not an easy pedal to find either and fortunately Bax had it in stock and nicely discounted. It was the most competitive price I could find from a reputable retailer, was dispatched promptly with up to date and accurate tracking. I would recommend using Bax for a combination of a) competitive pricing b) quick dispatch

Ik heb altijd gewerkt met een Soundboard van Digitech, hiermee heb ik geprobeerd tones na te maken van verschillende bands, oa. Metallica. Ondanks de velen sounds die je kunt mixen op de soundboard, kwam ik nooit echt in de buurt van Metallica's geluid. Na 7 jaar gitaar spelen heb ik dan toch besloten om te kijken voor een nieuwe pedaal en toen kwam ik terecht bij deze KHDK - Dark Blood van Kirk Hammett. Ik ben er heel blij mee! de toon die uit deze pedaal komt, komt overeen met het van Metallica en het is geweldig!! Ik raad het product aan aan mensen die op zoek zijn naar een degelijke pedaal voor heavy sounds.
