For the distortion-loving guitarist, Mooer present the tight and fuss-free Solo distortion pedal. This itty-bitty stompbox is home to three different flavours of high-gain distortion that can be toggled with ease via the fitted three-way mini-switch. Classic mode treats your tone to old-school high-gain rock distortion; Natural unleashes the organic response of valve-style distortion; and Tight packs out the sound with a full mid-range supported by tightened lower frequencies. In essence, this versatile little box has the character-packed voice and dynamic response of a high-quality 100 Watt valve amplifier and has been built to shove your solo work right to the front of the mix.

The Mooer Solo Distortion

The already multicoloured distortion that the Solo is able to shape can be tweaked and customised in detail using the fitted Gain, Tone, and Level controls. The Gain can be dialled all the way up from a basic crunch to a hefty in-your-face distortion. The Tone pot ranges from warm and creamy to straight-up lead tone with a fierce bite. And to finish, the Level pot sets the output volume, so that the sound of any valve amplifier can be given a raw, tasty edge. As a welcome bonus, this little stompbox takes up barely any pedalboard space.
