TC Electronic's El Mocambo Overdrive is an effects pedal that will do just that with its vintage overdrive which emphasises the mids. It accurately reproduces the sound of a tube amplifier and fattens up your tone with its extra mid-range oomph. What's more, this overdrive effects pedal is available for a very reasonable price.
El Mocambo: warm, saturated, simple and effective
The warm, saturated sounds from the El Mocambo Overdrive pedal are suitable for wide variety of music styles. The pedal has a simple design too with just three control knobs on board making it easy to use. Tone boosts the trebles and cuts the lows or vice versa depending on which way you turn it. Drive controls the amount of overdrive and sustain and Level controls the volume of the overall signal. The pedal is true bypass as well which means it won't affect your sound when it's not activated.
