With the Magma Flex Metal pedal, Thorn Soundlabs kits out guitarists with the big yet ultra-tight distortions demanded by modern metal. Thanks to an integrated noise-gate, the silences can get just as devastating as the output. Meanwhile, the intuitive set of controls can be tweaked and twisted to unleash anything from a subtle and sweet crunch to a brutal and aggressive metal-ready distortion, and the line-up even includes both a Headroom pot and a Damping pot, which hands you surgical control over the lower frequencies. High-precision tone-shaping is also supported by the extensive Bass, Mid-Freq, Mid and Treble controls, so the finer details can be hammered out, and all of that power is housed in a fully analogue, true-bypass pedal that can run on 9 or 18 Volts as needed.
