General

The Voodoo Lab Sparkle Drive can be fully depended on whenever you want to throw in a bit of classic 808-style overdrive. Hand-built, this vintage unit comes with a Clean pot so you can mix the overdrive with the boosted signal. First, however, you'll want to adjust the intensity of the overdrive using the Gain pot, before your colour your sound lighter or darker via the Tone control. Then, it's finally time to use the Clean control and create a perfect blend of classic overdrive and boosted cleans to get back a bunch of attack. Turned all the way up, the Clean pot provides a full, clean boost.

Tips or comments about this product

When connecting a power supply, always use a 9V DC adapter (regulated) with a standard 2.1mm centre-negative plug.
