General
The CMD series is Behringer's new range of MIDI controllers. They are a great improvement on Behringer's last DJ MIDI controller, the BCD3000, which was a becoming a bit dated. The CMD series ushers in a new age. This Studio 4A is a complete MIDI controller with a solid aluminium housing, equipped with two decks with large jog wheels and can easily be coupled with other CMD controller for personalised setups. A USB audio interface for all four decks is included.
Buttons and button-feedback on the Studio 4A
No DJ wants to have to look at a screen or use a mouse continuously. This is why Behringer has equipped the Studio 4A with various buttons that are all illuminated and give you feedback about the status. When you are using a function in the software, you automatically receive visual feedback on the controller. The buttons are equipped with a soft-touch rubber coating for optimal user-friendliness.
Extensive hotcues, various decks and effects
How extensive do you want your controller to be? The Behringer CMD Studio 4A is equipped with all kinds of practical functions that allow you to work creatively. The two decks are switchable, so that you are provided with deck A and C, as well as B and D. The jog wheels can be used for scratching when in this mode. You can program 8 hotcues, allowing for creative mixing. The effects section is also impressive. Up to four effects can be selected with adjustable parameters.
