General
Fresh from the Native Instruments lab, the Traktor X1 MK3 is a smart and fully portable DJ solution for mixing, messing with effects and triggering loops. This unit comes fully upgraded with advanced displays, LED lighting and more. Alongside the X1 MK3, you get Traktor Pro 4 DJ software on the side, which seamlessly integrates with the controller while, out of the box, you gain the clear visual feedback of a set of defined and colour-coded buttons and controls and striking LED lighting that lets you know when a track is almost finished or is looping. A completely new mixer mode has also been supplied for tweaking the equalizer and volume for all four channels and, at the push of a button, you can switch between the mixer and effect modes at will.
X1 Of a Kind
The control panel of the X1 MK3 is populated by no-less-than five OLED displays, each designated for essential track and effect info, so you can get away from your laptop and concentrate solely on this tactile chunk of hardware. The familiar bank of four encoders have been left over from previous generations, so you can comfortably browse through your deck, while a set of twenty transport control buttons with a new, larger and more tactile, ergonomic design have also been provided. The back panel is home to an integrated USB hub for linking up other controllers or media players, including CDJs, another X1, or whatever gear completes your custom DJ setup and, to finish, the included software helps kick everything off straight away: Traktor Pro 3, and a free two month subscription to Beatsource or Beatport.

The X1 mrk3 paired up with a Z1 and F1 is so much fun I’m not even missing my jog wheels which was my only concern with switching to a modular setup.
The new Traktor pro 4 software it came with is amazing and beats serato for me as I never liked serato’s 'pay extra’ for features it had and the library was terrible.
Traktor has everything you need and much more.
The X1 is loads of fun to mix with and I’ve not even properly learnt all of the features yet, using the Fx on there just feels great and the amount of fx Traktor has and quality far outdoes what serato had.
The light up LED’s are a nice bonus for when your playing in the dark room or club with the added bonus of being useful in letting you know if your in a loop or the tracks running out of time.
The added bonus of MIDI mapping control makes this a real pleasure to have and play with 👌

De omschrijving van het product moet worden aangepast: ipv Traktor 3 is het mogelijk de update te maken naar Traktor 4. Gewoon met Native Acces software.
Nu maar sparen voor een Z1 :-)

Het is een controller van goede kwaliteit, met stevige pots en soepele drukknoppen.
Via de website van Native Instruments kon hij Traktor Pro 4 downloaden. Deze werkt dus wel. Hopelijk heeft voorgaande reviewer het opgelost gekregen want hier lukte het dus wel. Bedankt ook voor de goede service Bax!
