General
Equipped with four channels and four decks, the Numark NS4FX DJ controller offers Serato DJ software support, professional mix options and great audio quality and, best of all, it's easy to use and comes on the cheap. Each of the four channels comes loaded with premium faders, a 3-band EQ with 'full kills' for impacting sonic tweaks, and potent high-pass and low-pass filters for full control over the frequency range.
Assignable Crossfaders, Excellent Platters
What's rather unique is that the NS4FX allows you to apply the cross-fader sides per channel or bypass it altogether. This option turns the unit into a seriously flexible bit of kit that can help you create artistic mixes for live-streams and live sets alike, but Numark also set you up with a set of high-quality touch-sensitive jog wheels that have been specifically calibrated to support extremely accurate mixing and scratching. The platters, meanwhile, come equipped with bright LED displays that keep you up to date on info such as track position, BPM, pitch range and more.
Professional Connectivity
Ample connection options are a must for any DJ. That's why the Numark NS4FX features balanced XLR outputs, an RCA booth output, a headphone jack plus a headphone mini-jack, and two microphone inputs finished with individual volume and tone controls. Should you ever need an AUX input, it's also worth knowing that the first microphone input can be switched to AUX so you can plug in a smartphone or another playback device. Lastly, as a bonus for live-streaming DJs, the controller mixes in the microphone signal with the main mix via a USB interface, so with the NS4FX on your side, you won't need an external audio interface to connect your microphone to your computer.
