You probably thought Pioneer's DDJ-RZ had everything you could possibly desire in a digital controller. Think again! Its successor, the DDJ-RZX, has everything the DDJ-RZ possesses and even more functions to boot. It features three on-board, full-colour, touch-screen displays for previewing videos, monitoring effects, and adjusting and combining parameters. Editing live videos to match your beats perfectly is child's play with this ingenious device. The Camera FX function enables you to use an image from a live feed by hooking up a digital camera to the controller. DJing has never been this interactive!

Professional functionality by Pioneer

If you've worked with Pioneer controllers before, you'll be delighted to see the brand has included familiar functionality on the DDJ-RZX, clearly remembering why their controllers became so popular in the first place. It has two decks with 8 multi-coloured pads per deck, improved mic inputs, a 3-band EQ on the mic and Mic FX. It's equipped with a hardware mixer that you can also use without a computer. Its jog wheels are full-sized and the layout resembles that of the extremely popular DJM-900NXS2. Using the touch screens, you can utilise the Sound Color FX and the Beat FX simultaneously. The former has a sub-parameter control that allows you to adjust the colour of the filter. To top it all off, the DDJ-RZX also features a Release FX.

With the purchase of the Pioneer DDJ-RZX, you'll also receive a license for Rekordbox DJ, the DVS Plus Pack, and the brand-new Video Plus pack. This new pack is an expansion for Rekordbox DJ, so you can really make the most of your DDJ-RZX controller. Basically, this expansion allows you to play back HD video files with Rekordbox. You can then add text overlays to them or create an automatic slide show by designating a folder with images. Want to show video images from a live feed during your performance? You can! Use the cross faders to make video fades in combination with the Transition FX. The possibilities are endless!

What the *beep*!

Pioneer has added a completely new feature to the DDJ-RZX, namely: Active Censor. Nothing is worse than hearing someone say the F-word in a song while you're doing a romantic wedding set. Awkward! Active Censor enables you to activate an effect that automatically censors curse words that you specify. The Pioneer DDJ-RZX is an all-in-one controller that allows the modern-day DJ to give a spectacular performance suitable for any audience!

System requirements:

In order to use the Rekordbox video software, your computer needs to meet some specific requirements. If you have a PC, you'll need Windows Windows 7, 8.1 or 10 (most recent service pack). If you're a Mac-user, you'll need Mac OS X 10.0, 10.10, 10.11 (with the latest update version). An an i5 Dual core is sufficient but an i7 Quad-Core processor is recommended. You'll need a minimum of 8 GB of RAM and 250MB storage capacity (not including music files) and a monitor with a screen resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels is advised.
