Pioneer once again shows what they're capable of with the DDJ-SB2! This DJ controller is made for seamless Serato DJ integration. Serato DJ intro is included, so you can get cracking right away. Pioneer heeded the call of modern DJs and developed a clearly laid out, comprehensive DJ controller crammed with functions. All you need is the DDJ-SB2 and a laptop. The DDJ-SB2 has a built-in sound card and is powered via USB, ridding you of cumbersome cases and cords, put your laptop and controller in your backpack and you're off to an excellent party!
Pioneer DDJ-SB2: picks up where the DDJ-SB left off.
Like its predecessor, the DDJ-SB2 features Filter Fade and Low Pass and High Pass filters for each channels. To that, it adds new Trim Pots and VU meters, as well as two FX units per channel with six presets of which you can use three simultaneously (per channel). There's even an entirely new effect called Quantized Pad Trans Effect. It allows for seamless mixes with one hand tied behind your back! Naturally, the DDJ-SB2 also houses a sampler that lets you incorporate samples into your mix by pressing the sample buttons on the controller.
Serato DJ
As mentioned, the DDJ-SB2 was designed to work with Serato DJ, which is why Serato DJ Intro is included, allowing you to upgrade to full Serato DJ at a small additional fee. An exceptional feature of the DDJ-SB2 with Serato DJ is that you can use four decks and full functions for all of them. This means that this controller allows you to do what you normally can with four players and a mixer! All things considered, the DDJ-SB2 is a great addition to Pioneer's impressive line of products and will help many aspiring DJs to make their claim to fame!

Ik ben zelf in het bezit van de DDJ- SB controller (de voorganger).
Nadat ik over was gestapt naar serato compleet hoopte ik dat de vervelende piep/brom weg zou zijn van de speakers. Dit was niet het geval. Ik dacht dat het misschien een groundloop zou zijn, maar op meerdere contacten was het probleem identiek. Nu lees ik dus in de reviews dat meer mensen dit probleem hebben.
Ik heb een roland rubix x24 audio interface waar ik zeer tevreden mee ben. Deze interface heeft onder andere een ground lift functie die mijn problemen heeft opgelost. Helaas kan je met serato controllers de audio niet via je interface omleiden en kan het alleen direct. Serato en pioneer hebben blijkbaar een bewuste keuze gemaakt. Dit zet mij in het nauw en daarom zal ik nooit meer een pioneer/serato controller aanschaffen. voor de mensen die twijfelen kan je dit verhaal meenemen in je overweging
