The OPUS-QUAD is the first all-in-one Pioneer DJ system with 4 independently playable decks available. Combined with many different supported media types, you can therefore use the OPUS-QUAD very flexibly for the most diverse DJ sets. Songs can be found faster than ever in even the largest libraries thanks to the large touch screen and the new joystick-like browser button. Each deck is arranged so that you can see all song information on the deck at a glance. What is also new here is the ability to send sound out to a different zone separate from the master audio, for playing different styles of music in different rooms, for example.

Advanced effects section

Furthermore, the OPUS-QUAD is equipped with advanced effects that let you add texture and excitement to your music. Functions like the XY-PAD are controlled with a finger swipe on the XY-Pad. Settings such as cut-off frequency and other FX parameters are also so easy and quick to control. One of the effects you can control is the popular Smooth Echo, which you trigger using a pre-assigned fader or knob. And with the Sound Color FX and Beat FX, you add even more creativity and personality to your sound. Incidentally, the Smart Cue function has been revamped so you can now automatically replace the current cue position with new Hot Cues, which you can activate using the 8 Hot Cue buttons above each jog wheel on each deck.

High-quality AD/DA conversion eliminates loss of sound quality during conversion thanks to ESS Technology's 32-bit converter. The result? Finally, the Pioneer DJ OPUS-QUAD is plug 'n play compatible with rekordbox Performance mode, and from summer 2023, the controller will also be officially supported by Serato DJ Pro without the need to purchase a licence or subscription.
