With the Neon, Reloop proves that DJ controllers are not necessarily large, impractical devices. This four-deck controller is equipped with eight eye-catching trigger pads and has been designed especially for Serato DJ. Using the Serato Flip Expansion Pack, the Neon allows you to make remarkable mixes. You can create on-the-fly cues and use them for spectacular beat sketches. A great addition to your DJ software, the Neon is a particularly practical controller to take with you on trips or to use during quick jam sessions.
Reloop Neon: the ideal combination of hardware and software
Thanks to the use of touch-sensitive trigger pads, the Reloop Neon enables you to work intuitively with Serato. Loops and cues respond directly to your touch. The trigger pads light up in various colours, corresponding with the function they are serving at that particular moment. That way, you can keep a clear overview of your controller, even in the darkest of DJ booths. Naturally the Neon is also equipped with dedicated controls for the various modes of your Serato software, and two endless encoders are at your disposal for various purposes.
Beat sketches
The Serato Flip Expansion Pack - we've mentioned it before - enables you to create tight beat sketches. Repeat and edit tracks to your heart's content and turn them completely upside down! You can even apply Serato's iZotope effects. Thanks to its rugged housing and well-organised layout, the Neon is suitable for DJs and producers in all scenes, regardless of their level of experience. The Reloop controller can easily be combined with other equipment, and this modular characteristic makes it ideal for customised setups. You can even work two Neons side by side, using a simple jack cable.

De SB2 heeft pads aan boord en je zou eigenlijk zonder de Neon kunnen, maar de opzet en toevoegingen van alle opties van de Neon overschaduwt de opties van de SB2. Wat ik met name heel fijn vind, is dat je het apparaat kunt oppakken terwijl je aan het draaien bent.
In mijn studio gebruik ik de Neon sinds kort ook in combinatie met Ableton Live 9 Suite.
Bij gemis aan pads op de midi-keyboard, is dit een hele uitkomst tijdens muziekproducties.
Voor wie een klein budget heeft, zowel muziek produceert als (live)sets mixt in Serato DJ, is dit eigenlijk een must-have product !!
Ben er érg content mee.
