Built for entry-level DJs aged between 10 and 200 years old, The Next Beat by Tiësto controller doesn't just offer beginners a sleek introduction to the art, but comes with free online lessons with the 'godfather of EDM' himself: DJ Tiësto. The Next Beat has been designed to show DJs of all ages that it's never too late - if you want to be a DJ, you can be a DJ.
An All-in-One Controller
The Next Beat DJ two-channel controller presents novices with a tight and clean layout complete with two decks, each loaded with jogwheels surrounded by green LED rings, while the central mixer can not only be used for mixing, but for pitch-shifting, hot cues, triggering loops and samples, laying on effects, and more. All you'll need to do is hook the Next Beat up to a PC, Mac or iOS smartphone and you don't even need to plug it into a power socket, since this sleek stomper is USB powered.
Where Do I Find Tracks?
Even finding the right tracks has been thought about, since unlike other controllers, The Next Beat comes with exclusive Beatport and Beatsource access, which grants users 30 days of membership to the biggest dance music library on Earth, free of charge. Since the controller also features an analogue input, a phone can also be linked up and used as an audio source, while the integrated Bluetooth interface is another convenient touch that can be used to couple The Next Beat with various DJ apps. This controller even provides a microphone input with volume control, outputs for connecting up your speakers, and no DJ gear would be complete without a port for plugging in your trusty DJ headphones.
