General
The professional Technics SL-1200MK7 DJ turntable offers the same functionality and ease of operation as the SL-1200MK7. The SL-100MK7 comes in a silver finish and includes accessories such as a slip mat, dust cover and cables. This direct drive turntable features a so-called 'coreless' motor. This makes it lighter and even more maintenance-free than any Technics. This motor also prevents the well-known phenomenon of 'cogging'. Many turntables stutter when the platter rotates too slowly, but this is certainly not the case with the SL-1200MK7!
SL-1200 MK7: classic in a new look
The SL-1200MK7 is as reliable as you've come to expect from Technics. Although the Technics still looks exactly the same, new features have definitely been added. For instance, the MK7 has a built-in microcomputer that uses Blu-Ray technology. This makes this SL-1200 even more accurate, even with scratching. In addition, it is possible to adjust the braking time and power of the motor, and when your element supports this, use 'reverse platter play'. Also, the SL-1200 MK7 has been switched from fixed cables to detachable cables for even more flexibility.

Het enige nadeel is dat er geen scharnieren zijn voor de stofkap.. Nu moet ik zelf gaan boren in de achterkant van de behuizing. Niet onmogelijk, maar het zou toch een meerwaarde geweest zijn als de gaatjes daar voorzien waren.

Klein minpuntje is dat er geen scharnieren voor de stofkap aan zitten, persoonlijk vind ik dit niet zo'n groot probleem, maar het was een waardevolle toevoeging geweest.
Aan een ieder die twijfelt voor welke draaitafels hij/zij zou moeten gaan: ga hoe dan ook voor de SL1200!

Dit is de beste dj draaitafel op de planeet!
Spijtig dat er geen scharnieren op de kap gemonteerd staan en dat is soms lastig om die prachtige stofkappen veilig weg te leggen.
Heeft geen invloed op kwaliteit maar daar zouden ze misschien een set voor moeten maken die je kan monteren.
Mijn tweede Technics die ik dit jaar gekocht heb bij Bax en zoals altijd toplevering en service!

Zoals altijd bij Bax mooi verpakt om schade te voorkomen.
In combinatie met tonar banana perfecte kwaliteit.
De bassen klinken goed door en geeft een goede sound.
