Gemini is taking the DJ world by storm with their PMX-10 2-channel DJ battle mixer. It's fully-MIDI mappable, meaning it will work with virtually any software. The MIDI functionality works both ways, which means you can also use the PMX-10 as a DJ controller and assign the controls any way you want. There are 16 numbered performance pads for starting hot cues and samples, and just above them, there's a rotary knob for shortening or extending your loops. Above that, there are two controls for adjusting effects.
Easily adjustable
It's clear the possibilities are almost endless with the PMX-10, and scratch DJs in particular are sure to appreciate all this mixer has to offer. You can replace the crossfader with an InnoFader, and it features a phono and a line input so you're in control of what goes in and out. You can use all four with the built-in 4-channel audio interface and even record your session by means of the record output.
