General

Pioneer's DJM-350 has been the standard in the world of DJs for some time now. The brand has finally taken this model and enhanced it with more functionality to meet the demands of the modern-day DJ. The DJM-450 is still a very compact 2-channel DJ mixer, but with built-in effects modules and the possibility to connect it to a laptop thanks to the integrated USB audio interface.

The dual-channel personality of the DJM-450

Even though the DJM-450 is compact in size, it's enormous when it comes to functionality. The 2-channel mixer section has a trim and a 3-band EQ and comprehensive LED VU meters per channel as well as for the master. It's even equipped with a Clip LED. The compact volume faders per channel and the Magvel crossfaders contribute to smooth mixes, and allow you to adjust the curves or even invert the track completely. In a flash, you can filter out high or low frequencies in each channel with the Sound Color FX function .

Effects and connections

This DJM-450 is teeming with connection options. Microphones, a laptop, turntables and media players can all be directly hooked up to the mixer via all kinds of gold-plated connections. As far as outputs are concerned, Pioneer has chosen for balanced XLR connectors for speaker sets. The various effects on the left side of the mixer have been borrowed from full-fledged DJ mixers and can be implemented directly. On the right, there's an even larger effects section and the option to adjust the BPM of the track using a tap function. You can also add effects per crossfader, per channel, or even via the mic of aux input.

Très bonne petite table de mix ,fonctionne parfaitement avec des sources analogiques
très simple a utiliser , le son est vraiment de qualité aussi bien sur ( enceinte amplifiée , ampli sono +caisson ou en mixant uniquement au casque pour ne gèner personne le soir a la maison ) .
Les effect mettent un petit moment pour les utiliser correctement mais sont qualitatifs .
Maintenant le seul bemol c'est au niveau du logiciel Rekordbox qui est complètement compatible avec cette Djm-450 . Apparemment depuis qu'il sont passé a la version 6 et ultérieur de Rekordbox
on n'a une feuille rose qui explique que la carte noir avec la clef de license pour Rekordbox 5 n'est plus livré avec
Alors que la version 5 de Rekordbox n'est pas du obsolette et peut-être largement suffisant pour utiliser la fonction dvs .
Donc hélas il faut acheter une license sur leur site ( et c'est au alentour de 300 euros en plus pour avoir la fonction dvs sur Rekorbox 6 et ultérieur )
C'est un peu mal expliqué de le descriptif quand on achète cette superbe table pionner Djm-450

Fijne mixer , alles voelt goed aan zoals de dure broertjes , jammer van de missende Booth uitgang. maar die heb je eigenlijk niet nodig thuis.
Door het compacte formaat heb ik zelfs ruimte om naast mijn 2 draaitafels nog 2 xdj 700 spelers te plaatsen.

Geweldige mixer!

Ik had eerst de DJM-350 die leuk was in het begin maar deze DJM-450 brengt je toch een stap dichter bij de grote DJM-900 serie.

Als 2 kanaals mixer in combinatie met 2 XDJ-700 spelers is dit een perfecte set!

Zeker een aanrader voor beginende of hobby Dj's.
