Reloop's RP-7000 Silver is the ultimate record player for vinyl DJs and DVS users who're looking for a professional turntable with a powerful motor. In addition to its stylish silver looks, this powerhouse offers a rugged construction and outstanding build quality.
Features
The Reloop RP-7000 is a club-standard turntable with a torque motor similar to that of the Technics 1210, but slightly modified and enhanced. With the RP-8000 model, Reloop was looking toward the future - take the included pad strip, for instance. Developing the RP-7000, however, they were aiming for a more authentic turntable design. In fact, the looks and layout of the RP-7000 are quite similar to those of the Technics 1200. Of course there are differences between the two turntables: unlike the Technics model, the RP-7000 Silver has a reverse button next to the start/stop button, a quarzlock to lock the pitch, and a switchable pitch of +/-8%, +/-16% or +/-50%. The start/stop speed can be adjusted from 0.2 to 6 seconds and the turntable's top left corner has an additional start/stop button that allows you to position it vertically. A great benefit compared to the classic 1200 is the RP-7000's ground-free RCA output, and you can even switch between phono and line if you want to connect the turntable to a mixer without a phono input.
A solid turntable
The RP-7000 has a sturdy construction and offers anything a classic vinyl DJ or DVS user might need. A dependable direct drive makes it quite reliable and its pitch resolution is remarkably precise. At a divergence of only 0.04%, beatmatching is no problem whatsoever, and turntablists in particular will appreciate the inclusion of an additional start/stop button. With the RP-7000 Silver, Reloop has developed a turntable that can certainly compete with the Technics 1200.
