Lightweight and comfortably sized for smaller hands or travelling percussionists, the Meinl JRD-KQ mini-djembe has a 7 inch diameter and a higher-than-average pitch when compared to a standard-sized djembe. The shell has been shaped from plastic, making it more durable and less sensitive to warping in more extreme temperatures and humidity levels, and this great little djembe even comes pre-tuned, so won't need tuning up for some time.
