Meinl's PMDJ1-S-G Travel Series Djembe is super compact and ideal for street performers. This 8-inch djembe features a natural goatskin drumhead for a warm, rich sound. Thanks to the traditional decorations, it also has quite a classic look. Furthermore, you can safely place the djembe on the ground, as it has a protective rubber ring on the bottom. As Meinl's Travel Series Djembes are made of a remarkably light synthetic material, they are 20% lighter than fibreglass djembes, allowing you to take them wherever you go.

Beautiful tone

Thanks to this djembe's traditional sound, you'll feel like you've been transported to Africa. That feeling is only enhanced by its goatskin drumhead and traditional look. Furthermore, Meinl equipped this djembe with an innovative tuning mechanism, which allows you to adjust the instrument's pitch while you're playing. Finally, it produces warm bass tones and penetrating slaps.
