The performance-grade Remo Mondo Djembe shapes full-range, rich and warm bass notes and articulated slaps while the carefully designed shape supports maximum playing comfort. The unique shell has been made from Acousticon: 100% recycled and reinforced wood which not only sounds outstanding, but is incredibly stable and hard-wearing. The fitted Mondo Skyndeep batter head mimics the warmth and response of animal hide, even down to the high-resolution printed finish, which gives the Mondo an extra-natural look as well as character-packed sound.

Wrote the following about Remo DJ-0014-05 Mondo Djembé Earth 14-inch

De beste djembé die ik ooit in mijn handen heb gehad. Professioneel. Deze laat alle toeristen trommels ver achter zich. Gemakkelijk te stemmen, dat is zo cool. De 14 inch heeft een dijk van een bas. Tegelijkertijd een ferme slap, dus je moet wat rustiger staan. Minder kracht gebruiken.
De uitstraling is heel natuurlijk, beetje vintage.. dat maakt het persoonlijk. Maar.. Ik heb een kunstzinnige kennis gevraagd om mijn djembe te beschilderen.
