Playing a djembe is perhaps the most fun in the open air. Unfortunately, wood is not very resistant to rain and cold. The Toca TF2DJ-9T Freestyle II Rope Tuned Djembe, Thinker 9-inch can withstand this, as the shell is made of plastic. The skin, made of synthetic materials also helps with this. This will not dry out or stretch and therefore maintains excellent tension. Tension is also maintained by the rope tension, which is applied in a traditional weaving pattern. A red base has been used for the finish with gold patterns on top, which has been named Thinker.

Toca TD2DJ-9T: dimensions

The smallest in the Freestyle series, this model has a field diameter of 9 inches, or about 23 centimetres. With a height of 42 centimetres, it is also very accessible for children. The sound is higher than the larger models due to this size, but it nevertheless features sultry bass tones and sharp slaps. The combination of different materials makes this djembe excellent for outdoor use and also easy to carry.
