General

Toca has made the Freestyle II djembe from modern materials, but the classic sound of the instrument has remained. The bowl of the TF2DM-10S is made of plastic, making it a lightweight model. A synthetic sheet is placed on top; it doesn't stretch, doesn't dry out and stays in tension. Tension is maintained by a metal tensioning rim and bolts, meaning you can easily set the sound height. The Spirit finish is inspired by the Rastafari movement and features yellow, red and green colours.

Use anywhere

The design of this djembe is patented by Toca and delivers deep bass tones and sharp slaps. The height is 20 inches (50.8 cm) and the field diameter is 10 inches (25.4 cm). A non-slip rubber ring is fitted to the underside of kettle. This in combination with the materials of bowl and skin makes this djembe usable anywhere.
