American DJ Hexcon controller for HEX series

Every café, canteen or local community centre wants the best possible set-up in terms of lighting, preferably with the same functionality of larger venues. The Hexcon, in conjunction with Hex fixtures, can give this to you! Without major lighting consoles or a light jockey, you can still put on a great show with the Hexcon from American DJ.

Functionality

In essence,the Hexcon is a 36-channel DMX controller, but because all HEX fixtures have the same channel format, you can control many functions directly from your fingertips. Up to six separate groups can easily be 'coloured' using one of 24 colour preset buttons. It's also possible to manually adjust all the RGBWA + UV's with the faders. Other functions, like Sound Active, Colour Chase, Colour Fade, Strobe and Blackout can all be activated with the press of a button.

A USB port?

On the Hexcon, American DJ has even included a USB port. Why a USB port? Every DJ knows the problem. You're busy spinning music when you suddenly think of that fantastic new song you'd like to play. Then you realise it's only on your phone and, of course, the battery is almost dead. There's never a charger or power socket in the area either when you need it. Now you can simply connect your phone to the USB port to charge - et voila - problem solved!
