The Obsidian NX Touch is an undeniably powerful and easy-to-work-with control interface for the ONYX platform. This DMX wing is compatible with all ONYX consoles and PC software, supplying a sleek plug-and-play solution for small and simple as well as complex and professional rigs. The interface features fourteen touch-responsive faders for controlling playlists and fixture parameters, plus twenty velocity-sensitive pads for creating new effects. Next to that, the NX Touch provides programme buttons like Record, Edit, Update and Load, giving you direct access to the essentials, completing a smooth and creative workflow.

Up to 4 Universes with the ONYX NOVA+ Licence

The NX Touch has been fitted with a DMX output that supports direct control over DMX units and also uses an ONYX NOVA+ licence that supports up to four universes, including full OSC, MIDI and Timecode functionality. This sets up the NX Touch for a broad range of different applications, from small events to extensive shows and, since this interface can also be expanded by a further 128 universes, it can grow alongside the rig.

Built for Mobile & Fixed Installations

The portable and robust design means that the NX Touch will easily hold up as part of a mobile or fixed installation. Because it's connected up via USB, no external power supply is required and, since this unit serves as an expansion module for ONYX consoles, it's the flexible choice for lighting professionals, especially when you add on the rack-mountable housing and intuitive set of controls.
