ENTTEC’s S-PLAY LITE is a robust show recorder and playback controller, designed for reliable daily use in permanent lighting installations. Record and play back up to 16 universes via Art-Net or sACN, or control up to 2 DMX universes directly via the two 5-pin XLR DMX ports. Configuration is carried out via an intuitive web interface with a drag-and-drop timeline editor, allowing you to build complete shows with up to 100 cues and up to 100 playlists—ranging from simple static scenes to recorded dynamic cues and gradient effect cues created using the built-in effect generator.

Integration is where the S-PLAY LITE really excels. It supports automated events and remote triggers via multiple protocols, including Art-Net, sACN, DMX, GPIO (digital inputs), RS232, UDP and OSC, making it easy to connect external hardware, sensors, buttons or third-party control systems. You can schedule playlists to run at specific times, with custom groupings and priorities—ideal for venues, architectural lighting, museums, hospitality and themed environments where a show needs to start automatically and run consistently. The 8 GB internal storage can hold over 20 hours of recording from 16 universes at 40 fps and can be expanded via microSD. Thanks to versatile mounting options (rack, surface-mount and DIN) and PoE support (IEEE 802.3af), integration is straightforward in both compact and larger network-based set-ups.
