The software has a Windows-style design and makes use of drag-and-drop fixture patching, 3D visualizer, and an automatic effects generator. Especially the latter allows you to create professional-looking effects with great ease. As such, you can let moving heads make figures and adjust them to your preferences. You can also let LED PARs project rainbow-like programs which wouldn't be possible with a standard DMX controller.

LIVE interface

Lumidesk LIVE features two DMX 512 connectors, one is a fixed output and the other can be switched between an input and an output. This allows you to control every sequencer, cue, or even DMX channel, with an external controller. The LIVE version doesn't have a stand-alone mode, but does gives you the option to send out 512 DMX channels twice. You're guaranteed an excellent price-to-quality ratio!
