If you've got your light effects suspended in a truss or light bridge, it's not exactly practical to climb up to switch them manually. That's why Showtec developed the RP-405 MKII Relay Pack. It offers four channels that you can turn on or off independently, which is ideal for light effects that are not suitable for DMX. While most relay packs have difficulty switching to low-power effects like LEDs, this RP-405 MKII can do so effortlessly!
Showtec RP-405 MKII: Overview
A unique feature of this relay pack is that each group can be assigned to a DMX channel separately so you don't need to use a sequential number of channels. Each group can deliver 5 A for a maximum total of 15 A. You can also use it in automatic, standalone or sound-activated mode. Last but not least, this relay pack is easy to mount in a truss or stand!

Moet mijn review van 6 Januari 2024 helaas aanpassen en me bij Andre aansluiten.
Na lang zoeken naar DMX problemen in de verlichting blijkt het inderdaad aan deze unit te liggen. Wanneer hij ingeschakeld is beginnen lampen willekeurig te knipperen, moving heads zonder reden te draaien/schokken en gaat ook de switchpack zelf willekeurig aan en uit, waardoor verschillende andere apparaten ook aan en uit gaan.
Als je de switchpack uit zet zijn alle problemen direct weg, dus t ligt wel dergelijk aan de switchpack.
Ik heb nog geprobeerd kanaal 1 altijd aan te zetten, zoals Andre in zijn review had beschreven, maar dat had bij mij geen effect.
De DMX interface die wij gebruiken is (volgens mij) de Eurolite USB-DMX512-Interface van Thomann, mocht iemand daar nog wat aan hebben

Bon produit. Fonctionne bien. Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas un reglage dela sensibilité au son.
Le manuel fournit ne correspond pas a la version du produit. Mais le menu est simple donc ca va.

Helaas heeft deze switchpack DMX problemen. Het probleem doet zich alleen voor bij bepaalde DMX mengpanelen of andere DMX interfaces, en resulteert in het flikkeren van de kanalen in bepaalde settings. Het is opgelost wanneer DMX kanaal 1 continu op aan wordt gezet (ook wanneer de switchpack niet op kanaal 1 is ingesteld), en heeft daarom waarschijnlijk iets te maken met verkeerde DMX timing van het apparaat. Na het testen van meerdere units blijkt dit bij iedere unit hetzelfde te zijn, dus dit is een ontwerpprobleem en geen kapotte unit. Zonder DMX aansturing werkt het apparaat wel prima, en er is dus wel om het DMX probleem heen te werken, maar ik vind het niet goed ondersteunen van DMX wel echt een grote fout van het apparaat.

De 3 toestellen zijn OK enkel de prijs is ergens iets goedkoper (licht en geluid.nl ) 255 i.p.v 267

Handige SwitchPack met leuke ingebouwde programma s. Ook via DMX makkelijk in te stellen en te gebruiken. Kan zeker ook hoge watt aan.
