General

With this LB-134 Elementary Series model, Leonardo offers a double bass for an accessible price. The ideal student or rehearsal model, this instrument has the standard 3/4 sizing, setting it up for adult musicians and making it compatible with most standard accessories. This model also features narrower shoulders that grant smoother access to the strings so that pizzicato techniques can be performed with more ease, all while the broader lower bouts of the body help shape full and deep sound. The shaded nitro natural lacquer, meanwhile, protects the wood from the elements as well as scratching, while giving this double bass its warm and vintage look. The Leonardo Elementary LB-134 comes complete with a useful bag and a bow.
