This sturdy flight case from Prodjuser can take and safeguard 2U worth of gear. A double-door model, the case can be opened from both sides - how convenient! The FLI 2-12 RS is made of 6mm thick birch plywood, reinforced by Penn Elcom parts including aluminium profiles, butterfly latches, ball corners and handles, and comes finished with a durable coating and four stabilising rubber feet.

At last, a 2U case that works perfectly with a bass amp that's 250mm deep. Well built with neat fittings, tidy riveting and solid construction. Also, the total internal height is very slightly over 2U which allows for a bit of ventilation.
I ordered the rackware (screws, washers etc) as it wasn't clear that these came with he case and are suggested as being required, but the case comes with 8 captive nuts, washers and screws so the extra rackware wasn't required.
