General
The Hammond XK-1c celebration package is a highly complete package for Hammond lovers. It consists of the XK-1c, an EXP-20 expression pedal and a soft bag for easy transportation. The small Hammond XK-1c organ is capable of producing the famous Hammond sound, including a virtual tone wheel engine, transistor organs and pipe organ sounds. It's fitted with 9 drawbars and a 5-octave waterfall keyboard.
Hammond XK-1c: Hammond evolution
The large Hammonds of old live on in the XK-1c. Thanks to the digital tone generator, you can create your own presets and your own complete organs, one note and one tone wheel at a time, to make everything sound more vibrant than ever. The digital Leslie simulation - which no Hammond should be without - is highly realistic in its response and will lift your playing to the next level during choruses or solos. If you'd prefer a real Leslie, you can hook that up to the 8-pin connector on the back.
Wide arsenal of organs
Of course the XK-1c boasts the classic Hammond tone wheels, as well as Vox Continental and Farfisa presets that further expand the available repertoire. You can even go for a classic pipe organ. If you do that, the drawbars will serve as registers for the pipe organ voices (such as Bourdon, Gedeckt, Mixture and Trumpet) In total, there are 64 factory presets and 64 user presets available. Furthermore, there are also various effects to help you fine-tune your sound (chorus, vibrato, multi-effects), as well as an equalizer. Three external zones are assignable through MIDI, for expanding your possibilities even further. In short, it's true Hammond charm bundled in a modern, well laid-out instrument.
Hammond EXP-20 expression pedal
The EXP-20 is an essential tool in controlling your dynamics while playing a Hammond. It features a jack connector and an anti-slip pedal surface so you're as accurate as possible while influencing your organ's sound.
