In collaboration with some renowned cajon players, Sela developed the Cajon Brush 180. Compared to other brands, Sela's brushes are a little heavier, meaning they provide more articulate bass. The name refers to the brush's 180 nylon dowels, which can be adjusted using the two rubber rings. This way, you can vary between accentuated playing (low spread), and classic brush techniques (wide spread). Deze brushes zijn voor mij niet 'stijf' genoeg. Ze buigen nogal door wat tot vertraging kan leiden bij het drummen. Bij snellere ritmes is het hard werken met de brushes. Ik grijp vaker naar mijn stuggere broomsticks dan naar deze brushes.

The only criticism is that the rubber band holding the nylon strings works itself loose although I only faced this with the 250 so far. I personally find the 180 the ideal sweet spot between the 110 and 250
