While the cajon is traditionally played by hand, playing it with brushes makes it even more versatile. Sela's SE 036 Cajon Brush 250 was developed in collaboration with some of the artists who endorse their products. The brush has a maple handle with a rubber coating and no fewer than 250 nylon rods! It's slightly heavier than brushes by other manufacturers which results in more punch and bass. Thanks to the rubber rings, the spread of the rods can be adjusted giving you even more sound possibilities. Although the brush has been designed with the cajon in mind, it's also suitable for use with other percussion instruments like frame drums and tambourines.
