This four-piece CT1-J404-WC White Chocolate shell set is part of Gretsch's Catalina Club 2014 series. Gretsch is an innovative manufacturer of high-quality drum kits that likes to move with the times. Its 2014 Catalina shell sets are available in various configurations and colours, including this white fusion kit, which consists of a 20-inch bass drum, a 12-inch tom, a 14-inch floor tom and a 14 x 5.5-inch snare drum.

Gretsch Catalina Club 2014 White Chocolate: 7-ply mahogany shells

The shells of this four-part fusion set are made of 7-ply mahogany, a wood type that provides a warm sound and optimal resonance. The 30-degree bearing edges increase the resonating ability of the shells and deliver that unique Gretsch sound. The CT1-J404-WC White Chocolate is equipped with Remo drumheads.

New style

This Catalina Club 2014 shell set features a number of interesting improvements. It is fitted with Catalina mini lugs and the bass drum is equipped with a round badge-style clamp with memory lock. The new Catalina tom brackets of the 2014 drum kit series feature improved, great-looking T-shaped wingnuts and offer room for an optional 7/8-inch cymbal arm. The hardware is made of durable metal; it is evident that Gretsch value high-quality materials. The floor tom of this White Chocolate shell set is equipped with three adjustable legs, which are fitted with anti-slip rubber caps.
